To use this feature, begin by filling the water tank. Plug in the iron, and turn the steam dial to the highest setting. After allowing the iron to heat up for two minutes, unplug it. Hold the iron face down over a sink and press the "Auto-Clean" button. Hot water and steam will be released through the steam vents. Continue holding down the button until the tank has been completely emptied.
